Certificate of Talaq application

Husband to wife. The Council advises on timing so the Talaq is not طلاق بدعي, explains idda and the associated matters, and issues a PDF certificate by email as standard where the requirements are met. The fee is £200. ISCN-provided witnesses are £50 each if needed.

Who this is for

Have government photo ID for both spouses.
Have the marriage or Nikah certificate.
Choose whether you will provide both adult witnesses or ask ISCN to provide one or two at £50 each. Supply identity evidence for each witness you provide.
Be ready to explain the words, date and circumstances of any earlier Talaq, previous pronouncements or reconciliation.
Provide the factual Mahr position. The scholar will record the religious classification, idda and Mahr outcome after verification.
