Consultation Initial Assessment — £50. A paid, confidential first consultation for any initial matter: Khulu’, Faskh, marital advice or general questions. The Council reviews your circumstances and advises on the suitable next step. Where your question needs formal scholarly review, it may recommend a published Fatwa tier. The assessment is a separate professional service and is not itself a Fatwa.

What Counselling Is — and Is Not

Counselling can support communication, reflection and family decision-making. It is separate from a formal adjudication decision and is not a substitute for emergency, medical or specialist mental-health support.
