Confidential Service

Nikah

Religious Nikah conducted in person, online or as a hybrid ceremony, with document verification and clear civil-status guidance.

Route fee confirmation pending. This route cannot create an application reference, hand information to the case system or open payment until its complete fee is controlled and approved. The optional Arabic certificate translation remains £30 if a certificate is issued; it cannot be purchased separately.

A religious Nikah service that can be conducted in person, fully online or as a hybrid ceremony when one or more participants are in different locations. The ceremony proceeds only after the required information has been verified.

ISCN Nikah is a religious service. It does not itself create a UK civil marriage. Payment does not guarantee acceptance, a certificate or a particular religious or civil outcome.

Flexible Ceremony Arrangements

In Person

The parties, Wali (marriage guardian) where applicable and witnesses attend at the agreed location.

Hybrid

One or more authorised participants join securely by video while others attend in person.

Fully Online

The parties and witnesses may join from different locations, subject to identity, presence, consent and ceremony checks.

ISCN coordinates the approved ceremony route and, after the ceremony and final controls, may issue a religious Nikah certificate from the United Kingdom.

What the Process May Include

  • Identity and eligibility document checks for every relevant participant.
  • Consent of both parties and an agreed Mahr (dower).
  • A Wali (marriage guardian) where applicable and two witnesses.
  • Evidence relating to any previous marriage or religious dissolution.
  • Locations, time zones, language and remote-attendance arrangements.
  • Ceremony arrangements after verification is complete.

The Civil Position

A Nikah performed by ISCN, whether in person or online, is religious. It does not automatically create a marriage recognised under UK civil law or replace any civil process required in another country. Couples should address civil registration separately.

Fees and Cancellation

The full standard Nikah fee is fee pending confirmation, whether the ceremony is in person, hybrid or fully online. The application calculates and collects the full fee, including any selected additions, so a separate payment request is not needed later.

  • Central Mosque or Nali Mosque: +fee pending confirmation.
  • Your own venue: fee pending confirmation total, plus return-journey travel from NE1 5JE at fee pending confirmation per mile — there and back.
  • One ISCN witness: +fee pending confirmation; two ISCN witnesses: +fee pending confirmation.
  • Imam acting as Wali: +fee pending confirmation.
  • FCDO Apostille: +fee pending confirmation; Embassy legalisation: +fee pending confirmation.

The approved cancellation terms explain when deductions may apply, including cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled Nikah.

Optional Arabic translation — £30 per certificate. Where ISCN issues a religious certificate through this route, you may request an Arabic translation for an additional £30 for each certificate. This is not a UK certified or legal translation and does not create civil status, official recognition or guaranteed acceptance.
