ISCN International Service

Optional: +£295 on top of the standard service fee

Personally handled by the Head of the Council

For applicants who live outside the UK. We go by the country where you live, not your nationality. If you live in the UK, you may choose it too: for UK residents it is optional and the same £295 on top of the standard service fee.

Included:

  • Personal handling by Sheikh Richard MacLeod, Head of the Council, as your single point of contact
  • Video sessions at times that suit your time zone
  • Priority handling: a reply within one working day, ahead of standard UK cases
  • A cross-border check at the start of your case (information, not legal advice)
  • A bilingual English and Arabic certificate
  • Coordination when the other party or the wali lives abroad
  • A written update at every stage
We ask where you live, not your nationality.

The £295 is added on top of the standard service fee, as a separate line on the secure Stripe payment page. ISCN sets the amount; this form only records your choice. Not included (charged separately): FCDO legalisation or apostille: +£150; Notarisation: +£75; International delivery by DHL: +£75; Posted hard copy: +£50; Faskh fast track: +£250, on assessment.

The International Service includes a bilingual English and Arabic certificate, so you do not need to add the separate Arabic translation option.

ISCN certificates are religious documents; recognition in another country depends on that country's law.

The cross-border check gives information only and is not legal advice.

You can email documents, including ID or passport, to salam@theislamicshariacouncil.org.uk, quoting your reference. Please do not send documents by WhatsApp.

Submit once and continue to paymentThe Adult Certificate of Faith is £250. The optional Arabic translation remains +£30 if a certificate is issued.
Who this is for
  • Use your full name exactly as shown on your identity document.
  • Have your identity details ready and, if available, the identity document itself to upload with the application or email later, quoting your application reference.
  • You may also include a Shahadah certificate or other relevant supporting document.
  • Select an appointment preference so ISCN can verify identity, purpose and suitability before issue.

Important: this is a private religious certificate route. It does not replace any civil, immigration, court, school, university, employer or government process unless the receiving body chooses to accept it.

Optional Arabic translation — £30 per certificate. Where ISCN issues a religious certificate through this route, you may request an Arabic translation for an additional £30 for each certificate. This is a translation of the religious certificate. It is not a UK certified translation and does not create civil status, official recognition or guaranteed acceptance.
